Our Vision Our vision is for organizational engagement to spread around the world like a virus and be adopted as the #1 priority of organizational leadership teams. We view the CEO as chief engagement officer!
Engagement in general is a subject that is not very tangible and hard to get. But when you are engaged or when the employees are engaged, “magic” happens. You become a leader as Lao Tzu described and people are fully supporting and acting on the organizational Why.
However, because it is intangible and not so easy to grasp, there are myths.
The Wall Street Journal proposed the question number one technology issue is that faces organizations to “The Experts, an exclusive group of industry, academic and other thought leaders who engage in in-depth online discussions of topics.” One of these experts is Booz & Co CEO Cesare Mainardi who gives the following advice:
Technology is one of the three pillars, people, processes and technology. When it comes to enabling an efficient and effective organization, social collaboration technologies –as efficient enablers- are surging in their usage. Why are they important? A lack of soft skills directly effects the bottom line, people are less productive and less able to achieve specific objectives. Employers are putting a premium on these capabilities according to an article by Glassdoor.
We have written a lot on employee engagement and the power of the human capital as sustainable and differentiating asset. With written in bold, I thought this time to collect some of the videos out there on employee engagement and provide you an audiovisual view on employee engagement. Enjoy!
